SAMs 1.1.1 A collaboration with University of Texas at Austin, Texas A&M University, and Prairie View A&M University in conjunction with Oak Ridge National Laboratory, this large-scale project seeks to study the interconnected challenges of natural disaster, pollution, and their effects on social systems. New models of these interactions will provide quantitative understanding of projected climate change impacts across Southeast Texas in a way that is generalizable to other regions and improve the practice of resilience science.
