SAMs 1.1.1 The project designs, develops and validates a Virtual Rotator Cuff Arthroscopic Skill Trainer (ViRCAST) for virtually simulating arthroscopic rotator cuff repair surgery and demonstrating its effectiveness as a training platform for surgical residents. Specifically, the project will design and simulate the bipolar electrocautery procedure and its haptic integration for surgical simulation.
