SAMs 1.1.1 Lamar University will collaborate with UTRGV to evaluate the accuracy of existing datasets for delineation of watersheds and estimation of flow paths at select locations along the Texas Gulf Coast, particularly on the Middle Laguna Madre region and the Brazos River area where such delineations have been problematic. A suitability index for watershed deineations and LiDAR generated delineations at 4 different watersheds will be developed as part of this study.
