SAMs 1.1.1 This project focuses on nursery habitats on wilidlife and fish habitats on the Sabine Lake Estuary, which has been commercialized on the Texas side by heavy industry. Current levels of marine wildlife are sampled and compared with other, less industrialized areas of the estuary with the goal of researching if man-made habitats, such as dredge placement compartments, can be effective in propagating and increasing the resiliency of native marine wildlife.
