The scope of work states: TXView has identified the need to increase the number of undergraduate students who use remote sensing in an applied, project-oriented fashion. Students need to be aware of the broad range of potential applications for remote sensing across the State of Texas, and to engage in real-world applications through applied research projects. Member institutions will identify projects and students, who will be supported by a faculty mentor. This activity addresses objective 3: Promote research and remote sensing experience at the university undergraduate and graduate level to increase numbers and visibility of graduating students with employment skills in remote sensing. The imagery, sensor, or products for these projects will be determined by the application area chosen. TXView will offer up to four stipends to TXView consortium-member partner institutions to support Texas-centric applied remote sensing projects. TXView member institutions are supporting undergraduate research opportunities with diverse funding resources. SAMs 1.1.1
