PACCAR is engaged in, among other things, the research, development, manufacture and sale of commercial vehicles and its proprietary systems. The objective of the project is to develop and demonstrate next generation Medium and Heavy-Duty Battery Electric Vehicles (BEVs) capable of ≥75% reduction of CO2 and tailpipe emissions and improved freight system efficiency, total cost of ownership, and durability when compared to baseline vehicles. University of North Texas major deliverables for this project are: 1. Identify vehicle parameters for cooperative perception to improve freight efficiency and reduce carbon footprint. 2. Support ADAS and Connectivity Design Effort 3. Support Development of Powertrain Simulator with ADAS and V2X Technologies
