Note:

The Department of Information Science at the University of North Texas (UNT) proposes a three-year NSF REU site for 10 undergraduate students from outside of UNT to participate each summer in a 10-week residential program. The objectives of the program are to 1) expose undergraduates to real-world, innovative, and interdisciplinary research focused on creating, applying, and sharing rich vector embeddings, 2) encourage more undergraduate students to continue their academic careers and seek graduate degrees in AI-related fields including Data Science, Computer Science, and Information Science, and 3) develop research skills and improve communication and collaborative skills in undergraduate students.
