Title of Contract, Award, or Gift: Feasibility test of an injectable form of immune modulator
Name of Granting or Contracting Agency/Entity:
Thunder Bay Therapeutics, Inc
CFDA:
Program Title: none
Note:
This project is to establish the feasibility of an immune modulator, which has been developed by Thunder Bay Therapeutics. The immune modulator is designed to modify NK cells into tumor-targeted NK cells in situ. The modified NK cells specifically recognize its target cancer cells through antibody-antigen binding. Upon binding of the NK cells to its target cancer, the co-stimulatory domains are activated to stimulate the NK cells to secrete cytokines to induce apoptosis of surrounding cancer cells. We intend to examine the cancer-killing effects of the NK cells and define the mechanism of action.
