An alternative method is to use anecdotal assessments to design highly individualized conditions that can be evaluated via functional analysis (FA). Additionally, this FA process is designed to use the most efficient procedures first, and progress to more complex procedures only if necessary to identify. To date, 10 professionals from multiple SSLCs have completed this training and began implementing the EPFA process with a client at their home SSLCS. In the coming year, the primary objectives of the project are to continue training additional professionals, expand the project to entire Behavior Service departments at SSLCs, provide on-going training, consultation, and supervision in various aspects of applied behavior analysis, and develop a learning collaborative amongst behavior-analysis professionals in the state of Texas.
