Note:
The overall objective of this study is to develop PCM-incorporated firefighter gloves for more efficient thermal protection under flashover situations compared to traditional ones. By experimental study, we aim to identify the optimum configuration and geometry of PCM-incorporated firefighters’ gloves for the most efficient temperature control, demonstrate the feasibility and performance of the proposed gloves, and provide evidences on the advantage of the PCM-incorporated gloves in rescue. The end goal is to provide potential guidelines for this innovative structural firefighting glove manufacturing.
