Lindenwood University will mail at their expense up to 840 frozen serum samples to the University of North Texas Applied Physiology Laboratory (UNT-APL). The UNT-APL will analyze the provided samples in a blinded manner for Free Glycerol and Free Fatty Acids using commercially available kits. The UNT-APL will return the raw data in an excel format with no additional interpretation. Upon request, UNT will provide a written methods section (suitable for a manuscript) and be available to answer any technical questions regarding the analysis and results.
