Note:
SAMs 1.1.1--In this research project we will use TESS data at a cadence of 20s for 52 targets to study the accretion of (confirmed and candidate) ultracompact accreting white dwarfs or AM CVns. By studying the light curves of these objects we will have the opportunity to study outbursts and superoutbursts from the beginning to the end. We will have the possibility to determine the periods for 35 systems for the very first time through superhumps which will help us to classify the object and can help determining patterns to identify new AM CVns using photometry. We will also determine the amplitudes, recurrence times, durations and shapes of AM CVn outbursts and superoutburst, thus testing existent relations with the orbital period.
