SAMs 1.1.1: The current study will address the following research priorities for the 2022/2023 fiscal year: Assessment of psychopathology and protective factors with the MMPI-3 Utility of the MMPI-3 in gender diverse populations; Examination and validation of the MMPI-3 gendered comparison groups in gender diverse populations; To conduct a study where the student co-investigator is a member of the marginalized community being examined (i.e., a sexual minority, gender diverse). The primary goal of the current study is to understand the utility of the MMPI-3 in predicting psychopathology and protective factors for gender diverse individuals (e.g., transgender people, nonbinary people, culturally specific genders), with a particular emphasis on the use of gendered comparison groups in scoring and interpretation of MMPI-3 profiles.
