The awarded funds will propose time-dependent feature attribution methods to interpret deep survival analysis models. We propose to encode domain knowledge and experts' feedback as feature attribution priors and incorporate them into the training process of deep survival analysis models to improve consistency of the explanation as well as the performance and trustworthiness of the model.
