This non-endowed $150,000 gift is designated to provide research enhancing funds to faculty and graduate students in the Long-Term Care Administration Certificate Program to support research in aging; research in leveraging COVID-19 data and experiences to increase efficacy and effectiveness of Long-Term Care facilities; research in using Artificial Intelligence and Image Recognition in diagnosing Dementia; and research on Informatics and Financial Constraints on Long-Term Care facilities. Eligible uses for this gift include the purchase of data sets for analysis, computer hardware and software, and other research equipment and supplies; compensation for faculty members' time committed to the project, and stipends for graduate research assistants contributing to the project.
