Texas Stream Team is developing a state-wide bacteria Coastal Water Quality Monitoring program to better understand bacteria impairments and the sources of contamination in Texas bays and estuaries. Texas Stream Team is working to leverage local partnerships, funds, and volunteers to build a state-wide coastal network that monitors the health of Texas bays and estuaries with an emphasis on the Matagorda Bay system. Results of this research will serve as a model for other coastal counties facing similar issues. SAM 1.2.1
