1.3.1 Specifically, the proposed project goals are to develop a strong graduate program complementing current capacity building efforts in cybersecurity with an emphasis on: (1) establishing strong research programs in several niche areas including systems security, hardware security and IoT security in collaboration with our partners; (2) developing a lecture/seminar series to provide students with solid research background and understanding of cybersecurity challenges across the spectrum of computing systems, from low-level hardware to high-level software for which protection mechanisms must be developed;
