Program Title: none

Note:

1.1.1 The objective of this study is to mitigate N2O emissions in legume fields using rhizobia inoculants that are capable of both nitrogen fixation and complete denitrification. Wild bradyrhizobia, a well-known denitrifier, will be isolated from fields of food and feed legume crops and cover crops, and then screened, and characterized using cultural and molecular methods to identify those with efficient nitrogen fixation and N2 O reduction to N2.
