Note:
1.1.1 Dr. Barouei will lead the research efforts on PVAMU side on molecular diagnosis of human pathogen transmission to food crops. This includes performing field/greenhouse trials to examine the survival and persistence of naturally occurring foodborne pathogens (FBP) in soils amended by manure-based biological soil amendments (MBBSA) and the contamination of produce grown in such soils using conventional and molecular microbiology techniques.
