Note:
1.1.1 The overall goal of this project is to contribute to enhancing the understanding of U.S. meat goat markets. Specifically, we propose analyzing drivers of meat goat auction markets and goat meat consumer and wholesale demand. The specific objectives of the project are the following: 1) To analyze drivers of meat goat prices and demand at various levels of the U.S. meat goat marketing chain. 2) To analyze consumer preference for goat meat and factors affecting consumer decision to purchase/consume goat meat.
