Note:
1.1.1 Dr. Mgbemena (Co-PI): Will lead all efforts for cell functional studies to establish the physiological effect of covalent biologics in-vitro, and guide in-vivo studies detailed to use a chemical platform to test biologics. Dr. Mgbemena’s lab will be in charge of carrying out a receptor dimerization assay to assess the dimerization of IL-1R with IL1RAP in the presence of cov-Anakinra with IL-1β and Anakinra with IL-1β, respectively. Her lab will also perform a mixed lymphocyte assay and T-cell activity assay to assess T-cell activation in the presence CovPD1. Dr. Mgbemena’s lab will also assist in the generation of dose response curves in the presence of covalent biologics.
