1.1.1 This study will determine if undergraduate Juvenile Justice students do better in an online course or face-to-face. This study will use an experimental design to compare two sections of the same course (CRIJ 1313, Juvenile Justice Systems), one online and one face-to-face. The same instructor will teach both sections. To add a level of control to reduce variability, students will be provided with identical materials, including the electronic version of the textbook. Data collection will consist of student grades, a student satisfaction survey, and enrollment data for the following semester.
