Note:
We deem this project restricted research (SAMs 1.1.1). The investigator will evaluate and update the newest APEX model and will continue to support the NTT-COMET (Conservation Management and Emissions Tool) integration which will allow users the ability to look at both water quality and carbon benefits on their fields. Project will fund improvements to the handling of soil phosphorus to allow users to reflect phosphorus-based nutrient management. Lastly, this project will development of a pilot NTT-Counties tool that will allow users to look up typical N, P and sediment loss rates for their farms based on limited location (state and county) and management (tillage) information. These efforts are designed to provide the public with robust and accurate tools for evaluating water quality impacts on agricultural lands. Previous approval #99945 (FY2022)
