1.3.2. This an integrated project (student scholarship project, experiential learning project, and outreach and engagement project) focused on supporting undergraduate and graduate student activities that will provide a pathway to federal agency employment. The goal of this project is to recruit, cultivate and graduate the next generation of a highly-skilled, diverse workforce that will contribute to innovations in agriculture. Hispanic leaders will be increased with participation in a unique multifaceted approach to experiential learning that includes: student research, internships, educational tours, a research symposium and career fair as well as professional development seminars.
