Note:
1.1.1. The objective of this proposal to build a consortium across multidisciplinary team members from two minority serving institutions (MSI) and national labs to support an integrative research and education program focusing on addressing gaps between cybersecurity and power engineering for advancing resilience of next-generation cyber-physical DER devices and systems with long-term goal of contributing to develop next-generation cyber-physical power and energy systems (CPPES) to create a clean, secure, and sustainable world. Building on my prior research collaboration, the research goal of this partnership proposal is to launch a major research direction to develop an innovative resilient cyber-physical security framework that address imminent challenges in both future cybersecurity requirements and power engineering designs and resilient operational strategies for DER devices and systems.
