1.3.1. The project consists of provide technical and monetary support to three community colleges (Palo Alto College, Mesalands Community College and College of the Sequoias) to start intercollegiate meat judging programs and to provide meat industry certificates so that students are trained and qualified to enter into the meat industry workforce. Data will be collected on how the programs impact students' technical and soft skills and their marketability to meat industry employers.
