Note:
1.1.1. The objective of this proposal is to understand, analyze, and optimize energy-efficiency, fault-tolerance, and security of IoT deployment for building monitoring systems. While existing work investigates algorithmic solutions for individual problems, our proposed approach is to establish a solid three-layer theoretical foundation that forms the basis to jointly achieve the above three requirements.
