1.1.1, 1.3.1: The objective of this research is to understand the professional skills deficits of practicing large animal veterinarians that are early in their career, and to evaluation the personal attributes of those individuals that correlate with growth in professional skills following in intervention. This will include the development of a professional skill continuing education certificate program that focuses on further development of communication and professional skills that are specific to production animal veterinarians that practice in rural and regional communities. Continuing education will be provided by both virtual synchronous and asynchronous learning and in person communication training. An approved IRB is in place, as well as evaluation and dissemination plan
