Note:
Many studies have shown the effect of social media misinformation and disinformation on COVID-19 vaccination hesitancy and refusal. However, there is little research on how to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 misinformation and disinformation, particularly among Hispanics. The goal of this project is to provide hard evidence to support effective, culturally sensitive, interventions to disseminate accurate information on COVID-19 prevention and treatments to the Hispanic population, particularly for groups severely affected by this pandemic such as the elderly and chronically ill Spanish speakers.
