Title of Contract, Award, or Gift: NEW STRATEGIES FOR REGULATING NON-LIVING OLEFIN POLYMERIZATION CATALYSIS

Name of Granting or Contracting Agency/Entity: National Science Foundation
CFDA Link: NSF
47.049

Program Title: n/a
CFDA Linked: Mathematical and Physical Sciences

Note:

Objective 1, we will demonstrate that dynamic switching, which involves coordinative exchange between the primary catalyst and secondary metal ions, provides a versatile way to customize polyolefin microstructure and distribution using non-living catalysts. Objective 2, we will demonstrate that coordination of chiral metal auxiliaries to nickel complexes is a facile strategy to construct stereoselective olefin polymerization catalysts. SAMs 1.1.1
