Note:
We will leverage our experience in global control of massive swarms, which investigated underactuated systems where a handful of control objectives were used to steer large numbers of agents to accomplish goals. In a similar manner, we will use a small number of hyperparameters so the human user can arrange priorities for the swarm and enable swarm members to adapt based on local and global data. This approach contrasts with current optimization techniques that design policies for a single task, and switch drones between optimized policies. Our proposed control architecture has the unique ability to alter or fine-tune the user-defined swarm behavior in real-time in response to changes in the environment or mission. SAMs 1.1.1
