Title of Contract, Award, or Gift: ELECTRODEPOSITION OF HIGH MOMENT-HIGH RESISTIVITY
Name of Granting or Contracting Agency/Entity:
Semiconductor Research Corp.
CFDA: 00.000
Program Title: n/a
Note:
Our aim is to design a cost-effective electrodeposition process and solution chemistry yielding the CoFeX alloys in composition range where the maximum possible magnetic moment and permeability is expected (Ms ≈ 2.4 T, mu > 1000). The overall content of the “X” component is designed to yield resistivity above 1000 microOhmcm. These alloys will be tested for high frequency applications and their Snoek limit will be identified. We will correlate the CoFeX alloys and CoFeX/X laminates properties with their metallurgical structure. This will help to elucidate the link between their high frequency performance and their synthesis conditions. SAMs 1.1.1 and 1.1.7
