Test IOL Designs, Battery of Tests for Each IOL* 1) Monocular photopic (85cd/m2) high contrast VA (logMAR) defocus curve from +1D to -3D in 0.5D steps; a. Add binocular for +1D to -3D in 0.5D steps (Designs 1 and 2 only) 2) Monocular photopic low (10%) contrast VA defocus curve from +0.5D to -0.5D in 0.25D steps 3) Monocular mesopic (3cd/m2) high contrast BCDVA and with -2.5D defocus (near VA) 4) Distance photopic (3, 6, 12 and 18 cpd) and mesopic monocular contrast sensitivity at (1.5, 3, 6, 12 cpd) 5) Objective halo assessment in mesopic conditions with a pin light source simulating a (angular size/intensity) of car headlight. Subject’s task will be asked to click 4 points (3, 6, 9, and 12 o’clock) to indicate the most outer boundary of the halos that they perceive. SAMs 1.1.7
