In this project, we propose redox polymers that (1) are synthesized from abundant biomass, (2) contain polymer backbones with established biodegradability under mild conditions, (3) have desirable mechanical properties suitable for wearable electronics, and (4) show minimal compromise in electrochemical performance compared with state-of-the-art electrode materials.
