Note:
Oversee the legal analysis portion of this proposal. Together with the legal consultants, she will consider the potential discrimination, privacy, and other concerns raised by the use of polygenic risk scores in child and adolescent psychiatry. For our legal analysis, we will consider primary legal sources, such as state and federal statutes, cases, and regulations, and secondary sources, such as practice guides, treatises, and academic books and articles. We will canvass a variety of subject areas including antidiscrimination law, privacy law, family law, and criminal law to fully understand the existing legal protections and to identify potential opportunities for misuse. We will then use these findings to formulate best practices for medical professionals and to make recommendations for legal or policy reforms. SAMs 1.1.1
