Title of Contract, Award, or Gift: VOC/NOX SENSITIVITY ANALYSES IN TEXAS URBAN AREAS
Name of Granting or Contracting Agency/Entity:
Texas Commission on Environmental
CFDA: 0
Program Title: n/a
Note:
This project will evaluate the observed volatile organic compound (VOC) and nitrogen oxides (NOX) sensitivity of ozone formation in Texas urban areas (San Antonio, Houston, Dallas-Fort Worth, and El Paso nonattainment areas) using routine surface measurements, satellite observations, and model simulations. Understanding how ozone formation relates to NOX or VOC emissions could improve model simulations and policy decisions. The analysis will use data from the ozone seasons of 2019 to 2023 for satellite derived and surface measurements sensitivity. SAMs 1.1.1
