Note:
In this research project, we will investigate to use Bayesian deep learning with proper regularizations for prediction and UQ. Specifically, our first goal is to build an accurate and robust regression model using DNNs with structured sparsity and/or principled knowledge regularizations and develop an optimal workflow for efficient training. Second, we propose to investigate predictive UQ of the regression model using Bayesian approximation. SAMs 1.1.1
