Note:

This is a single-site, prospective, interventional study examining the effects of low level light therapy (LLLT) on meibomian gland disease (MGD). Up to 30 subjects with MGD will be enrolled in the study, given LLLT treatment, and followed for a 1 month period. The primary objective of the study is to examine the change in proteins and lipids composition in meibum after LLLT. Secondary objectives are to examining the effect of LLLT on pro-inflammatory mediators in the tear film and changes in clinical signs of MGD. SAMs 1.1.1
