This proposal is to support the efforts on transport and thermodynamic modeling for traditional oil & gas applications as well as for new energy technologies where CO2 emissions need to be reduced or eliminated. In particular, we focus on CO2 capture route (either directly from air or from flue gases) using amine-based sorbent [6], where the captured CO2 is either utilized to convert the value-added chemicals (CCUS) or stored in subsurface storage (CCS) or converted in minerals.
