Note:
Dr. Mohan’s group will perform data analysis using the biomarker data derived, using various machine learning and biostatistical approaches commonly used for biomarker data analysis, in order to identify the best single biomarkers and biomarker panels. Tests that will be performed include: Parametric, non-parametric testing, and multiple correction testing, ROC AUC analysis, sensitivity/specificity/accuracy calculations, NPV/PPV values, Lasso/Elastic Net analysis, Volcano plots [plotting significance vs fold change], Heatmap and clustering, Ingenuity Pathway Analysis for viewing differentially expressed pathways and Gene Ontology Analysis, Principle Component Analysis, Random Forest Analysis, Bayesian Analysis for predictive modeling and other related Machine Learning approaches.
