Both CDC and non-federal partners will benefit from this collaboration through the accelerated development of foresight capacity to guide policy, goals, and actions that directly impact the health, safety, and well-being of workers in the United States through targeted guidance, advancement of strategic foresight expertise, and identification of potential new areas of research and training. Dr. Hines will serve as lead faculty and may engage other faculty from the University of Houston to provide subject matter expertise, guidance, and consultation to support the following activities: Efforts to develop and enhance foresight capacity across CDC. Advising on foresight projects. Advising and collaborating with CDC team members to develop foresight project outputs. Advising on SF LAN and/or webinars and informational sessions with CDC and other stakeholders regarding foresight efforts. Dr. Hines will also collaborate with CDC to identify and propose new areas and directions for strategic foresight efforts, as they arise. SAMs 1.1.7
