Note:
Dr. Thornton will contribute to this project by helping to develop the framework for comparing pharmacotherapy regimens used to treat pain, operationalize definitions for potentially undertreatment of pain, and analyze data from all three aims of the project. His background in health services research, including large database analysis, and as a pharmacist will allow him to assist with creating of analysis plans, implementing data analyses, interpreting study findings, and disseminating research products.
