The main purpose of this overall project is to explore the fit of culturally adapting a naloxone distribution and training program for Black communities. Data will be collected through two main specific aims. First, focus groups will be conducted with Black community leaders to learn more about the opioid crisis in Black communities, including the community history, norms, priorities, and values regarding substance use, misuse, and harm reduction efforts. The perceptions, attitudes, and knowledge regarding current and potential opioid-related harm reduction strategies will be discussed to better understand the community’s role in shaping the response to the opioid epidemic. Additionally, interviews will be conducted with community stakeholders involved in the response to the opioid epidemic. SAMs 1.1.1 and 1.1.3
