Note:
this research project and paper proposes to use analysis of past measures as well as study through interviews, focus groups, and survey instruments to determine if and how quality in academic law library public services can be measured accurately and validly. For this process, law librarians Amanda Runyon and Leslie Street will critically study the history and impact of former measures by US News and perhaps other entities like the American Bar Association or American Research Libraries. Parallel to this work, law librarian Amanda Watson will work with higher education assessment consultant Amanda Karel to develop research data around potential measures, including piloting measurement questions developed through interview and focus groups, as well as a larger testing survey of potential questions. The result of this work will be the research data gathered, and a paper synthesizing and drawing conclusions from this work. SAMs 1.1.1
