(SAM Category 1.1.1.)This proposal is for Software Toolset for Rapid Finite Element Mesh Generation of As-Built Large Laminated Composite Structural Components. UTA, under a subcontract to the Numerical Technology Company LLC, will be conducting X-ray CT scanning, including CT scans in the Cabinet systems and CT scans in the Inclined CT Prototype system; using UTA’s reconstruction software for advanced imaging; developing scripting tools for finite element modeling in ABAQUS software; testing scripts and resulting finite element in ABAQUS software; using UTA’s advanced PDFA software CDMat; and integrating Numerical Technology Company software in ABAQUS software.
