Note:

NCAS-M faculty and students at HU, UTEP, and JSU participate extensively in this project that addresses the airborne particulate matter, integrated environmental forecasting, and climate modeling. A variety of scientific instrumentation are used to sample particulate matter in situ and via ground-based or airborne platforms, including uncrewed aerial systems. Such measurements are being used for various investigations related to the characterization of emission, transport, and impacts of particulate matter and they can be used as input into the NOAA HYSPLIT model.
