The research will focus on developing and integrating cutting-edge computational algorithms using HPC, ML, data analytics, UQ, and other novel computational capabilities. The consortium brings together researchers from 5 departments (Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science, Computational Science, & Mathematical Science). It is comprised of faculty and staff from 4 prominent HSI (UTEP, UNM, NMSU, and NMT), one HBCU (PVAMU), and Sandia (a prominent DOE NNSA lab with leading-edge advanced M&S capabilities).
