Note:
Request for Proposal (RFP) No.: 22-0314 Under Prime Contract 49100420C0001. Title: “APP23 Operations, Maintenance, and Continuing Support of the Arctic Research Mapping (ARMAP) and Arctic Observing Viewer (AOV) Computer Applications”. This project will advance the ARMAP and AOV capabilities in Program Year 2022 based on efforts undertaken during previous Program Years (e.g., Program Year 2021 and Program Year 2022). Those defined needs are to: (1) Maintain and supporting operations of ARMAP and AOV environments compatible with the program’s information security requirements; (2) Improve data interoperability with the Arctic Data Center and other external data users; (3) Advance multiple ARMAP/AOV prototype applications towards broader public usage (e.g., Vessel Tracking and Environmental Compliance); (4) Continue outreach efforts to increase awareness of ARMAP/AOV in the user community and measure usage; (5) Provide ad hoc GIS visualizations in response to NSF requests; and (6) Provide project management oversight for the efforts.
