Note:
Dense deployment of interconnected nodes in the industrial CPS raises the concerns of trust and security of individual nodes. Since the devices conduct specific activities such as sense, and control the process states along with forwarding crucial data to remote supervisory servers and controllers, their trustworthy operation is vital to the overall system integrity and performance. Hence, in presence of adversarial scenarios, the problem of ensuring provenance for the heterogeneous cyber-physical infrastructure with minimum overhead that meets the performance bounds has become highly challenging, which is the main focus of this career proposal. Moreover, this proposal will investigate and explore robust provenance with secure information sharing mechanisms to enhance the resiliency of the critical national infrastructures and provide means to the effectively protect and mitigate the associated threats.
