Note:
Understanding the basic principles of energy conversion using light and applied to the photocatalytic oxidation of water oxidation has the potential to increase the energy efficiency of light to chemical energy. We are interested instudying the fundamental mechanisms of oxygen-oxygen and hydrogen-hydrogen bond formation using organometallic catalysts and time resolved x-ray spectroscopy at Stanford SLAC.
